09-09-2019: Latest stable build - Build 719

OBS: Til en 64 bit Outlook installation skal 64 bit versionen benyttes. Til en 32 bit Outlook skal 32 bit versionen af Add-in benyttes.

OBS: For at bevare brugernes adgangskode, skal køres et PowerShell script inden installation af add-in. Se guide til at køre script her.

OBS: Version 719 erstatter version 715, hvor et firma oplevede installationsproblemer i Office 2010.

Opsummering af de vigtigste forbedringer i build 719:

  • Ændre tid og ressourcer på forekomst i mødeserie.
  • Slet booking på forekomst i mødeserie.
  • Frigiv igangværende møde.
  • Single Sign-On (kræver aktivering af IT-afdeling).

Begrænsninger, som der arbejdes på:

  • Det er ikke muligt at bestille forplejning til gentagne møder via Outlook. Det skal gøres i en separat bestilling fra FacilityNet webportalen. Se guide.

 

De vigtigste fejlrettelser:

  • Add-in kunne i visse tilfælde blande ordre sammen, så der kom bekræftelsesvindue for lokaler, der slet ikke var booket for det aktive møde
  • Add-in fandt ikke altid email adresser for deltagere
  • Email åbnet fra ekstern fil blev låst, så brugeren ikke kunne åbne samme fil senere uden at genstarte Outlook.
  • Fejl under indlæsning af tidslinje blev ikke vist for bruger, i stedet blev blot vist tom tidslinje.
  • Tillad redigering af gentagelsesserie der er påbegyndt, så længe serien ikke er afsluttet.

Opsummering af de vigtigste forbedringer i build 684 er:

  • Mulighed for gentagelse af ressource booking.
  • Book ressource på vegne af anden bruger er forbedret.
  • Book ressource via funktions-postkasser.
  • Bedre performance - Hurtigere indlæsning og oprettelse af booking.
  • Ved print af mødeindkaldelse er HTML kode fjernet.
  • Fjernelse af ekstra dialog, når reservation gennemføres.
  • Bedre konfigurationsmuligheder af Add-In for virksomhedsadministrator.

Begrænsninger til funktion med gentagelse af ressourcebooking. Der arbejdes på en løsning til:

  • Bestiller kan ikke ændre tid og ressourcer på en enkelt forekomst i en mødeserie. Løsningen er at aflyse forekomsten og oprette nyt møde / ressourcebooking.
  • Hvis deltagere opdateres i en mødeserie, så vil Add-In vise et bekræftelses-vindue 2 gange.
  • Hvis bestiller booker en mødeserie og Add-In viser at en ressource er optaget på en bestemt dato, så kan der i sjældne tilfælde ske det, at ressourcen frigives af en anden bruger i tidsrummet inden bestiller bekræfter sin booking. Hermed bookes ressourcen alligevel af bestiller.
  • Når brugeren opdaterer en forekomst i en mødeserie, kan der i sjældne tilfælde vises en Outlook dialog fejlmeddelelse. Det har ingen konsekvens for reservationen eller mødeindkaldelsen.

 


 

Complete list of changes

Features:

  • User can make recurring bookings.
  • Configuration - Activate resource and catering modules independently of webportal. Can be adjusted on backend.
  • Configuration - Company can remove FacilityNet's order panel (in right side) that is visible in Outlook meeting request / appointment window, by removing check field in backend. If panel is deactivated, right panel then can be opened by clicking "Show/hide side panel in ribon menu". Can be adjusted on backend.
  • Configuration - Log files size can be adjusted. Can be adjusted on backend..
  • Security configuration: IP requests restriction. Can be set on backend.
  • Security configuration: Email domain restriction. Can be set on backend.
  • Configuration - Adjust Add-In timeout on responses from web service (used for companies with slow internet). Can be set on backend.

Changes:

  • Add description in meeting request top panel about Add-In's recurrency limit (default 180 days).
  • Removed extra confirm window after order completion.
  • User can book on behalf (delegation) of another user is improved.
  • User can book from shared mailbox.
  • Better scheduling mode for recurring appointments; when clicking anywher on the timeline, it will now respond to clicks on a resource schedule as if user had clicked on the checkbox for the resource.
  • If attendee size differs from sittings on catering order, then Add-In won't change sittings, when user update meeting. If attendee size doesn't differs from sittings on catering order, then Add-in will synchronize attendee list size to catering order.
  • If meeting start time differs from catering delivery time, then Add-In will adjust catering delivery time with the same interval. If meeting start time does not differ from catering delivery time, then Add-In will synchronize catering delivery time.
  • Code Signing Certificates for the Outlook Add-In is re-issued.

Fixes:

  • Handle case where order has been deleted server-side, when deleting an appointment
  • Server performance (timeout) is fixed, when user makes recurring appointments for maximal days (360 days). Depending on internet connection it can be done within 10 seconds for 360 days.
  • Extra confirm window removed when user sends meeting request / appointment.
  • When user updates Outlook appointment and change catering location to another room, catering location is properly updated on web portal.
  • In some situations attendee list size didn't match catering sittings.
  • If user changes room, the location in Outlook meeting request is updated correctly.
  • Changed uppercase labels to lowercase.
  • When deleting an attendee from timeline, it was not possible to add them again since code checked against appointment recipients instead of attendees in the timeline when guarding against duplicates.
  • After opening timeline, if user switches back to appointment and adds a recipient and then switches back to timeline, the newly added user would not appear in timeline.
  • In a recurring meeting user may be able to update text (body) on an occurrence without FacilityNet deleting the resource booking on that occurrence date.

03-05-2019 - Webportal updates

The updates below will be launched soon. More updates will be listed here the upcoming days.

Servicecenter:

  1. New servicecenter dash board layout with many improvements.
  2. Servicecenter can see statistic on guest who has check in on guest terminal (PRO).
  3. Servicecenter can see statistic on meetings in a period (PRO).
  4. Servicecenter can see statistic on resource occopancy rate (PRO).
  5. Servicecenter can see number of guests and meeting on current date on dash board.
  6. Servicecenter can see time remaining on ongoing meetings.
  7. Servicecenter can set individual buffer on each resource.
  8. Servicecenter can filter in external vs internal meetings.

Users:

  • User can see if meeting is a recurring meeting.
  • User can delete all serie of on a recurring meeting.
  • User can easily release ongoing resource bookings.

Administrator:

  • Company administrator can transfer bookings and orders to another user.
  • Single Sign-In (ADSF).
